Post-Doctoral Associate

Responsibilities/duties:

Conduct, oversee, and analyze data from multiple complex Experiments (40%)

• Genome editing of human cells
• Assess functionality of modified cells
• FACS panel analysis of gene edited cells

Design and oversight of new experimental plans and procedures (40%)

• Development novel methods for engineering of cells.

Grant writing and design of experiemnets for grants (10%)

Routine lab maintenance (5%)

• Materials acquisition and laboratory organization as necessary

Supervision (5%)

• Supervise undergraduate research assistants and laboratory technical personnel who will aid in performing multiple complex experiments.

Required Qualifications:
-PhD in in life sciences.
-Cell culture
-PCR/Molecular cloning

Preferred qualifications:
-Genome editing experience (ZFN, TALENs, Cas9, ect)
-Cloning eperience
-Cellular biology
