ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking an experienced Remediation Design Engineer to join our Environment and Facility Services department to lead remediation system and other environmental engineering design projects involving industrial wastewater and stormwater with an impressive team of skilled engineers and scientists.

In this position, the professional will complete design and specification packages for a variety of projects which may include but not be limited to soil vapor extraction pump and treat, and dual phase vapor extraction systems. In addition to design and specifications, the professional will oversee construction, startup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of remediation systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience reviewing hydrogeologic data to best determine which remediation approach and technology should be used, knowledge and experience conducting pilot tests as well as developing pilot test reports, preparing design, specification and bid documents, and experience constructing and overseeing systems.

Position Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering; Master's degree is a plus
  • Requires a minimum of 8+ years of experience designing remediation systems, previous construction experience a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite and AutoCAD strongly preferred
  • Experience in preparing comprehensive design, specification and bid packages
  • Experience in compliance aspects of wastewater, waste, and air discharges from remediation systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
