We are seeking a Community Liaison to join our talented team, We are growing at a rapid pace, come join us make a difference!

**This will be a regional role, the territory that will be covered include Cedar Grove, Hermitage Hall, Mountain Youth Academy, Natchez Trace Youth Academy, and Oak Plains Academy, and will also be assigned to Oak Plains Academy for all of the Business Development activities.

Responsible for communicating the value of our services and establishing a marketing presence in assigned territories, as evidenced by, incremental growth of assigned regions utilizing our services. Community Liaison seeks out and develops relationships at all levels of their customer base in a manner that establishes the Community Liaison as a credible, reliable, and valued resource for the customer to call and access services for children and youth. He/She is knowledgeable of the various components and benefits of residential treatment and is familiar with numerous and sometimes complex tasks of facilitating admissions. The Community Liaison aligns themselves with the child, customer, and facility as an advocate for the child in accessing services most appropriate to meet the child's individual treatment needs and interacts with all accordingly in securing needed services.

Qualifications

Essential Duties

  • Develops a strategic plan at the beginning of every fiscal year and meets with supervisor quarterly for updates and modifications of plan.
  • Accurately qualifies accounts as A, B, C for business potential.
  • Develops and maintains an updated profile of assigned accounts with current activity.
  • Makes minimum daily/monthly contacts as defined by Regional Director of Business Development.
  • Ensures that contact records are updated and completed within department parameters.
  • Utilizes industry, competitor, and census data/information to identify markets and customers within territory to develop business.
  • Coordinates attendance at local and industry related trade shows to exhibit services and execute customer contacts.
  • Contacts customers currently utilizing services at least quarterly to inquire about satisfaction with services and need for other services.
  • Assists facilities with executing and/or renewing contracts from within their territory. This includes, but is not limited to: completing service applications, organizing documents needed for contracting, completing a service profile and any unique logistics associated with servicing the account.
  • Schedules and coordinates training workshops or presentations of facility specific informations to customers within assigned territories.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. An individual must be able to perform their duties in a positive work mode and serve as a positive role model and influence for youth and peers.

  1. Education and/or Experience: B.S. degree in a marketing/sales, healthcare, psychology or clinical studies required. Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Sales Skills: Preference given to individuals with training and experience in Strategic/Consultative and Large Account Sales techniques. Knowledgeable of the positions and roles of individuals within their customer base. Able to accurately qualify the level of resources and contacts a customer may require to fully realize the value of the account the customer represents. Prioritizes contact activity by business potential. Seeks opportunities to secure commitments by the customer to utilize our services.
  3. **Travel: Able to travel on short notice and, when necessary, execute trips that may be in excess of 4 nights a week away from home, including on occasion, some weekends. Maximizes the use of other forms of communications (phone, email...) to minimize the use of resources and money associated with travel. When applicable, uses discount airline travel and refrains from using hotel and rental car vendors not approved by supervisor. Is knowledgeable of the company's policy on travel and entertainment expenses and expenses are reflected according to policy.
  4. **Expenses: Must have a personal credit card to purchase travel and misc. expenses incurred during the course of preforming assigned duties. Accurately completes expense reports in a timely manner for reimbursement of all expenses approved by supervisor.

**Work Environment

The work environment for this position requires that the employee be able to maintain an office within their home. The office space must be able to accommodate a hight speed Internet connection. The dedicated work space or home office must be free of personal distractions during working hours.
