Job Summary Advises members on loan availability; processes and packages loan requests and makes preliminary inquiries into eligibility to assist loan officers. Performs all necessary functions to fund and perfect loans. Essential Job Functions Discusses loan inquiries with members. Receives loan applications in person, by mail, by phone, by Internet or other e-loan format; informs applicants as to types of loans available, rates and terms. Reviews loan applications for sufficiency of information and compliance and follows through to correct any deficiencies. Informs applicants of loan status. Cross sells all services and products. Assists in disbursements and funding of loans. Acts as liaison to other branches and sends documents to branches. Secures the completion of necessary documents required to protect the Credit Union's interests. Maintains records and files to support loans in accordance with the Credit Union's policies and procedures. Obtains credit reports of applicants. Prepares various documents as needed. Performs follow- up and maintenance as required in perfecting and releasing titles. Conducts UCC searches and perfects UCC file recordings and renewals. Inputs client data to data processing system. Expedites loan turnaround efficiency by previewing and sorting loan files. Performs daily review of line of credit advance report and submit PR/FOLIO deduction changes as required. Submits PR/FOLIO changes in concert with loan officers when loans are funded. Reviews and identifies PR/FOLIO deduction errors/problems and corrects as required. Performs loan disbursement functions as required. Performs other functions as assigned. Education Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience Requirements Two years in a financial institution. Special Skill Requirement Proficiency with MS Excel preferred Some lending experience preferred Computer proficiency required Physical Actions This role, whether performed virtually or in an office setting, will include normal and customary distractions, noise, and interruptions. Sits or stands for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift. Occasionally reaches overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Occasionally moves, lifts, carries, and places objects and supplies weighing 0-10 pounds without assistance. Listens to, interprets, and differentiates auditory information (example others speaking) at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Visually verifies and reads information. Visually locates material, resources and other objects. Ability to continuously operate a computer for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift. Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate keyboard and other office equipment up to a full work shift. Physical Environment Required job duties are normally performed in a climate- controlled office environment.
