Duties/Responsibilities
Conducts, either independently or as part of a research team, economic analysis of public policy issues including taxation, state and local economic development, and economic impacts of public goods and services. Develops, or adapts, econometric and statistical methods for the analysis of economic issues and performs methodologically sound data analysis, including writing computer programs, developing and applying appropriate statistical models, and performing economic impact analysis. Writes clear and concise reports describing research methodologies, results, and policy implications.

Duties/Responsibilities
Participates in the development of economic research and development project proposals, proposal presentations, and project research design. Assists in assessing research needs of clients and in defining research goals and objectives. Develops proposals for research and technical assistance projects. Collects and assembles data from a variety of primary and secondary sources as necessary for conducting research projects.

Duties/Responsibilities
Identifies publication and/or presentation opportunities for economic analysis of public policy issues in professional journals and at professional meetings and conferences. Directs and participates in the preparation of journal articles, scholarly papers, and presentations of research at professional and academic meetings. Supervises and/or writes research, evaluation, and technical assistance reports. Presents reports and findings to clients.
