Instructor - Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing - Phoenix campus

Creighton University's College of Nursing is hiring for a 12- month, full-time, Psychiatric-Mental Health nursing Instructor position for its BSN program. This position is for the College's Phoenix campus.

Faculty responsibilities will include classroom instruction in the undergraduate program, clinical and simulation teaching/supervision of undergraduate students in acute care psychiatric and community-based health settings, curriculum development, and academic advising. Other faculty responsibilities include those associated with service and scholarship commensurate with the CON standards of performance and university expectations. Qualifications



  • Must possess at least a master's degree in nursing
  • Must have a current unencumbered license to practice as an RN in the state of Arizona, or eligibility for licensure
  • 2 years of clinical nursing experience in mental health nursing required, an earned doctorate or enrollment in a doctoral program is preferred
  • Experience in classroom and simulation instruction and clinical supervision preferred
  • The candidate must have experience in the acute care psychiatric setting
  • Flexibility to function in both the acute care psychiatric setting and the community-based psychiatric setting is preferred
