RESPIRATORY THERAPY TECHNICIAN

Overview

What you will do:

• Provide intermittent and continuous respiratory care procedures, under the supervision of a Respiratory Therapist to pediatric and adult patients.
• Duties include, but are not limited to hyperinflation therapy, CPT, incentive spirometry, pulse oximetry, and oxygen therapy.
• Document information in a patient's medical record.

What you will need:

• Completion of high school or GED equivalent.
• Graduate of or currently enrolled an approved accredited Respiratory Therapist educational program.
• Current respiratory therapist licensure by the Composite State Board of Georgia or currently enrolled in an approved accredited Respiratory Therapist educational program.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
