Retirement Valuation Analyst

Aon is looking for a Retirement Valuation Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

  • Independently complete small to mid-size annual pension and retiree welfare plan valuations using standardized processes
  • Review, analyze and reconcile participant data
  • Update valuation software programming
  • Review work for accuracy and reasonability
  • Produce annual valuation related deliverables using standard, proprietary tools
  • Communicates updates on deliverables and deadlines to other team members
  • Ensure valuation expectations and deadlines are clearly defined
  • Train less experienced colleagues and give feedback

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in a technical field (e.g. Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent time/project management - able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Independent learner of technical topics and concepts
  • Seeks and shares ideas for continuous improvement of processes and procedures
  • Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Highly competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Exposure to plan valuation software (ProVal) desirable
