Overview

Uses a high level of detail and precision to manufacture quality medical devices. Continuously demonstrates and promotes a commitment to quality.


Responsibilities

- Assembles more advanced components and/or subassemblies following specifications, procedures and work standards; performs tasks such as but not limited to cleaning, mounting and assembling intricate optical, electrical and/or mechanical components using hands and/or tools.
- Performs advanced service (to include major repairs) of units using factor repair guides, service bulletins, check sheets and/or work standards; ensures work meets quality standards and specifications.
- Maintains accurate records to ensure traveler and quality documents are accurate, all parts are traceable and quality issues can be addressed to assure the quality of all products.
- Maintains knowledge of work standards and ability to perform assembly and inspection functions at all work stations, to include equipment set up and software applications.
- Works to identify and resolve production and quality issues.
- May train others on assembly and inspection procedures or techniques to ensure adherence to established standards.
- Communicates quality, process, equipment, and materials related problems to management.
- Maintain knowledge of and compliance with ISO 13485, ISO 14001, CAPA, Design Controls and Risk Management requirements for designated work area.


Qualifications

- High school diploma or GED and 1-3 years of small component assembly or related manufacturing experience (technical training preferred).
- Experience with adjustment/diagnostic software and support applications.
- Ability to navigate MasterControl, BMRAM and QAD.
- Must have good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Requires comprehensive knowledge of company policies and procedures.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
