Position Summary:

UCI Temporary Employment Services (TES) continuously seeks applicants that are interested and available to work in Medical Assistant roles on temporary assignments at the UC Irvine Campus in Irvine, UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange and other UCI Satelite Clinics. We recruit for this position on an on-going basis in order to build a talent pool of potential candidates.

DUTIES FOR MEDICAL ASSISTANT ASSIGNMENTS

• Working closely with other clinical staff and doctors
• Rooming patients
• Checking vital signs
• Performing data entry into a medical records system
• Assisting doctors and nurses with procedures

Compensation Range:

$21.70 per hour

Required:

• Medical Assistant Certificate
• BLS Card by American Heart Association

Preferred:

• Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant
