Job Summary:

  • The Sales Strategy Analyst will execute a wide range of sales and related acquisition reporting and analysis that support the GME, Stream & XOOM retail businesses. Specific objectives include customer behavior analysis, cost & efficiency reporting, sales targeting strategy, as well as ad hoc analysis as needed by the business. The successful candidate has a passion for accuracy, is detail-oriented, results-driven, a self-starter and effective at working with sales leaders.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the delivering on time and accurate reports, dashboards, scorecards and key performance indicators

  • Generate and maintain PowerBI dashboards designed to allow sales leaders to make strategic business decisions

  • Create ad hoc reporting for sales leaders as needed to ensure business is supported

  • Producing outputs from SAP, SQL, TLP, and EPNet databases and analyze to assess team performance and identify issues or opportunities

  • Analyzing key indicators of the business such as sales, staffing, net revenue rate and customer attrition to provide business leaders key details on performance

  • Analyzing current partnerships and using existing data track and report on the profitability of various partners

  • Verifying accuracy of spending coding to ensure accurate cost of acquisition

  • Preparing spreadsheets, graphics, and word documents as required for reporting, analysis, documentation, and presentations

  • Other duties as assigned

Working Conditions:

  • Remote work environment

  • Some overtime required as special projects arise

  • Must be able to work on projects individually as well as with a team

  • Travel rare

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required

  • Experience: 5-7years work experience required

  • Experience leading a team or project is required

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present data in a crisp and easy-to-understand format is required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Mandatory, specifically exceptional excel skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferable work experience in analytics field. Quantitative analysis, reporting and fact-based decision-making experience is valued

  • Ability to communicate using visual tools (Specifically PowerBi) is highly regarded

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Committed to providing accurate reporting and assessments

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized

  • Proven commitment to delivering results on-time

  • Comfort with ambiguity; ability to work with incomplete data; able to provide 'directionally correct' results when appropriate

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices a plus

  • Proficiency in PowerBI and/or other visualization software is highly valued

  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills: resilience and tenacity to juggle multiple competing interests and drive to a resolution; able to adapt quickly to new situations

  • Capable of working independently and on a team; flexibility to work in fast-paced, lean environment

  • Knowledge of SAP system and connectivity of various SAP modules highly valued

  • High integrity, energy, enthusiasm and tenacity
