Job Summary
Works independently under supervision, responsible for handling all production critical on-hand inventories - allocated, reserved, consignment, furniture and/or customer owned. Collaborate with Sales and Operations monthly planning to ensure adequate on-hand quantities are maintained. Verifies inventory orders received and shipped and ensures that the orders are properly accounted for in the company's records. Handles all paperwork and follows all procedures to meet this goal. Mitigate risk of inventory investment through review, challenge and reconciliation of inventory and proactively leads dating and obsolescence. Accounts for all defective or damaged products and follows up with appropriate corrective action. Ensures all orders are properly accounted for in the company's records. Manages and reconciles all cycle counts and physical inventories. This position requires knowledge and application of Avantor operating systems for inventory control.
