The purpose of this role will be to lead and leverage the implementation of the Novartis Integrated Talent strategy to ensure we have an actionable pipeline of the best global talent that the market has to offer in order to meet the current and future strategy needs for the Enterprise. Engage senior leaders in co-creation of current and next generation talent management strategy. Bring external perspectives on leadership development and talent management. Leverage & Co-design innovative talent management solutions which set new standards for talent and business outcomes.

Major Accountabilities:
*Drive the implementation of proactive precision talent solutions to ensure that Novartis has the talent, leadership & skills at scale required to achieve its long-term objectives
* Enhance enterprise-wide talent management practices across all big bets of our talent strategy and evidence based practices to ensure a strong pipeline of talent, leadership & skills
* Articulate talent, leadership & skill trends and key findings clearly, compellingly and concisely, covering all elements of the talent lifecycle and predicted future developments
* Research key driver of talent retention and how these expectations are fulfilled for critical talent cohorts, e.g., executives, advanced therapy platforms, data & digital talent, etc.
* Inform narrative for more differentiated messaging to maximize critical talent retention and engagement, inform more targeted, focused interaction with prioritized talent cohorts
* Integrate talent narratives across the full portfolio of relevant talent products to simplify the overall experience of leaders and associates, increase utility and maximize impact
* Increase relevance and drive adoption of talent products, contextualize the messaging against specific target group needs and with concrete benefits, in a very simple and intuitive way
* Refine and sharpen communication and change material to drive adoption of key talent solutions with key target groups, including our people, managers and P&O colleagues
* Enable the community of P&O and Talent practitioners, support deep subject matter experts in Talent Management to reach key audiences related to solutions in a joined up way

This is a site-based role at Cambridge, MA or East Hanover, NJ.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $166.400 and $249.600 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors

Minimum requirements

Education
* Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Communications, Data Science, Computer Science, Psychology, Behavioral Economics, or Political Science

Work Experience
* At minimum 7+ years proven work experience in strategic talent acquisition and/or management, and demonstrated measurable results in a large scale multinational corporation
* Prior experience in managing large scale change and communications within multinational organizations, with an applied and proven set of tools and methods
* Prior experience in designing and successfully implementing marketing, change or communications solutions, preferably within talent acquisition and/or management
* Advanced skills in understanding key talent cohorts internally and developing talent narratives that resonate and create real impact key talent cohorts within the organization

Languages
* Fluency in English required with excellent oral and written communication skills
