Position Summary:

Applications for the Carle Nurse Residency Program (CNRP) will be considered for all new grad opportunities,
including Inpatient (Med/Surg, Critical Care, ED, Maternal/Child), Ambulatory (clinic), and Procedural tracks.

  • Two clinical instructor references - a separate e-mail will be sent to you requesting references from your two most recent clinical instructors only.


Qualifications:


Applicants must be enrolled and prepared to graduate, or have previously graduated, from an accredited nursing program. Prior to beginning nursing orientation, the employee must have obtained an unencumbered Illinois State Registered Nurse license.

All RNs hired on at Carle with less than 1 year of RN experience must obtain their BSN within 5 years of their start date.

Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred but not required.


New graduates, and those in their final semester, of an accredited nursing program are encouraged to apply.


Essential Functions:

The staff RN is a professional care giver who assumes responsibility for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via the utilization of the nursing process, nursing trends, technology, financial and human resources within the philosophy of the institution.

The Carle Nurse Residency Program (CNRP) is an evidence-based, comprehensive soution to assist new nurses in transitioning from academia to practice.
