The work location for this exciting opportunity is virtual. The selected candidate will work 100% remotely from home and can be located anywhere in the United States working east coast hours.

About the job:
Part of the Digital Fundraising team, the Website Testing & Optimization Specialist will be a primary contributor to the ongoing optimization of key functionality on RedCross.org to drive improved online fundraising conversion rates and increased revenue. In this digitally minded role, you will need to think creatively, analytically, and work collaboratively with business partners.

What you will be doing:

  • Responsible for working with business partners to develop and maintain a testing and optimization roadmap that aligns with and supports short-term and long-term strategic business objectives.
  • Work with key stakeholders to identify, prioritize, document, execute and analyze tests on RedCross.org with the relentless objective of improving the donor experience, financial donation conversion rates and revenue.
  • Lead regularly scheduled stakeholder sessions to coordinate and define test priorities, develop comprehensive test plans, and key timelines.
  • Work with analytics partners to identify statistically significant test findings that inform the product roadmap and ongoing site innovation.
  • Work with the scrum product owner to recommended digital solutions based on test results and help define technical requirements.
  • Present documented test results to key stakeholders and leadership through written test summaries and regularly scheduled knowledge sharing sessions.
  • Develop a solution for archiving historical test results that allows for quick, easy reference for the team.
  • Keep abreast of current digital best practices and technologies to support innovation at the American Red Cross.
  • Scope: Individual contributor that works under limited supervision. Apply subject matter knowledge. Capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge.

    What we need from you:

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Digital Marketing required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Website user experience testing, and A/B multivariate testing experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of website analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Experience Cloud, JIRA, Confluence, website user experience design, & conversion flow optimization is preferred.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically - yet be detail oriented to implement a tactical plan.
  • Ability to deliver complex digital concepts and analysis to non-technical audiences
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication & presentation skills.

    The legal stuff:
    Essential Functions/Physical Requirements: Depending on work assignment, may require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand, walk and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of up to 20 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read technical information. Overall mobility is essential. May include sitting for long periods of time, driving a vehicle and working under challenging conditions.



    Work Conditions: Work is performed indoors with some potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to emergency services relief work. May travel and participate in meetings and conferences throughout chapter jurisdiction, state and Red Cross system. Because the Red Cross is a disaster response organization, staff may be asked to be on 24-hour call during period of major disaster.

    What's in it for you:
    For those candidates located in Colorado, New York or Connecticut, the annual salary range for this position is $70K -$85K. We do not offer an annual bonus for this role. Note that the American Red Cross sets salary ranges aligned to a specific geographic location in which the job or employee resides. The stated salary range in this posting is an average and may not be reflective of your individual circumstances. We will review specific salary information at the time of phone screening based upon your location.
