SUMMARY: The Welder is an important member of the manufacturing team and is responsible for the welding of various components. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reads blueprint or job order for product. Tig weld per AWS D17.1 2000 weld standard Advises Lead when tooling becomes worn to the point that tooling can be replaced or repaired. Cleans and maintains workspace Welds products in weld fixtures per prints with little or no support. Fits materials into weld fixtures. Coordinates with manufacturing to ensure parts meet proper specifications. Verifies that parts are of high quality and exceed customer's expectations.
