Overview

Maintains all required records are up-to-date, accurate, and in compliance with organization policy. Conducts credentialing functions in accordance with established organization policies and legal requirements. Ensures candidates are treated professionally and well informed of their status of credentialing file. Arranges coordination and effective work relations with other departments. Assistance is provided as needed. Embodies the Memorial Health.



Qualifications

Education:

    Bachelor's Degree, preferably in business, marketing, advertising or related field OR Associates Degree and equivalent related work experience.

Experience:

  • Three or more years recruiting or staffing experience in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Successful experience in health care and/or leadership recruitment is strongly preferred.
  • Previous performance-based interviewing/recruiting experience in a health care setting is preferred.

Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • In-depth, working knowledge of recruiting, sourcing and effective employment strategies and tactics.
  • Possesses persuasive oral and written communication, effective listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to serve as a trust advisor while being credible and influential with applicants and leadership.
  • Possesses a strong customer service orientation and responsiveness while working with diverse applicants, community contacts, and leadership staff.
  • Proven decision-making, planning and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and timelines.
  • Effectiveness in managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines, ability to prioritize conflicting demands, organize time and resources to deliver solid and consistent results for the organization.
  • Strong PC skills paired with high proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Ability to maintain flexible schedule to meet business needs; remote and/or hybrid opportunities available.


Responsibilities

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with healthcare professionals from start to finish of the credentialing process.
  2. Works closely with healthcare professionals to obtain medical documentation including certifications, licensure and education verifications, background checks, etc. by established deadlines.
  3. Ensures compliance with organization standards, client requirements, State and Federal policies and regulations.
  4. Arrange for and schedule drug screening and all pre-employment health testing.
  5. Obtain other documents to meet the client requirements.
  6. Continuously communicate with Talent Acquisition Partners of start status to ensure healthcare professionals are completing requirements in a timely manner after accepting assignments.
  7. Maintains data in the appropriate software/systems in accordance with company policy and time frames and ensures all required healthcare professional's credentials are current, compliant, and filed.
  8. Maintain confidentiality of employee/employer files.
  9. Performs other related work as required or requested.
