Our children's programs are typically filled to capacity due to the creative, specialized, and fun elements we provide for children from the ages of 2 to 12! This is a supervisor-level position that is responsible for supervising subordinate staff members and department operations. Reports to our full time Recreation Specialist working with and administering licensed and non-licensed children's programs. This is a part-time year-round position with the Prince William County Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism. The position is located at the Sharron Baucom Dale City Recreation Center and has part time benefits and increased hours in the summer months. Minimum Education, Training and Experience Requirements High school diploma or G.E.D. and 3 years of related experience. Preferences The candidate will be at least 19 years of age and have supervisory experience and experience working with preschool age and school aged children. Special Requirements The Department of Parks & Recreation conducts DMV records checks on all licensed employees and criminal background checks on all hires age 18 years and older. Fingerprinting, CPR, First aid certifications required. Schedule - This position is year-round. Must be available 15-25 hours per week during the school year and 35 hours during the summer. Occasional night and weekend. Salary Range: $22.01 - $27.51 per hourly. . .
