Alpine is seeking aSoftware Developer I to join our Grand Prairieoffice. In this role, you'll join an agile scrum team responsible forcreating software features within Alpine's suite of software products. The Software Developer will participate in all areas of development including design, coding and testing in collaboration with the teamand aligned with company standards and guidelines.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with an Agile Scrum team to develop, test, and maintain web and desktop-based software products
  • Analyze and provide solutions to complex technical problems and projects
  • Develop automated unit tests for applications according to company standards
  • Participate in peer review sessions of solutions and related code, ensure software quality throughout the complete SDLC
  • Prepare software documentation including technical diagrams and manuals on the design, use and operation of the software

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering related fields
  • 1+ years' experience as Software Developer including past internships and University-related project work
  • Limited knowledge of the development lifecycle such as Agile and Scrum
  • Proficiency with one (1) or more of the following languages: C++, C#, JavaScript, PHP, Python, SQL, Ruby, Java, HTML, TypeScript
  • Solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals
  • Able to analyze and generate solutions to basic problems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills
