The may need Lecturers/Assistant Professors or Teaching Specialists to teach on a short-term and/or temporary basis during the academic year in or or more of the following areas:

  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Computer Science
  • Environmental Science
  • Geology
  • Mathematics
  • Physics
  • Statistics

Job Duties / Responsibilities

The primary responsibility will be teaching undergraduate courses. Some service and research activity may be expected.

Qualifications

Ph.D. or terminal degree for Lecturers/Assistant Professor, MA/MS or BA/BS for Teaching Specialists, masters preferred. Candidates must have academic preparation appropriate to the specialized teaching field, and must present evidence of successful teaching. Though clear emphasis is on successful teaching, consideration will be given to scholarly attainment of other professional recognition or distinction in the teaching field.
