We are excited to be recruiting for new talent to join our growing and innovative team - Sales Manager!

The responsibilities of this role may include:



  • Collaborates with the existing sales staff on opportunity development, establishing/enforcing policies and procedures for sales team.
  • Develop, maintain, and refresh marketing items and proposal templates
  • Develops an understanding of the opportunity being pursued, determines what to offer, creates strategies, identifies resources, and makes decisions working with executives, proposal development professionals, finance, contracts, human resources, etc.
  • Provides information for bid and no bid decision making
  • Oversees the process from bid decision to contract award
  • Helps develop and foster team relationships with new and existing customers
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and other practices developed and implemented by upper management
  • Develops and presents capture management reports and briefings
  • Leads initiatives to gain new contract opportunities and proposals audio-visual and videoconferencing business in government, education, and corporate accounts
  • Works with sales account team to provide high quality proposals to meet customer expectations and deadlines
  • Manages the coordination and distribution of work among team members
  • Sells services and products by using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge
  • Makes sales contacts
  • Large involvement in marketing of the company's products and services
  • Arranges for products demonstrations through vendors
  • Researches customer needs and develops how the company will apply products and services to comprehensively meet them
  • Provides estimates as needed
  • Manages assigned project budgets
  • Attends trade shows
  • Facilitates and participates in conference to sell the services the company provides
  • Prepares agendas for project kick-off meetings
  • Researches competitors and develops new methods in maintaining current customers and attaining new customers
  • Troubleshoots problems regarding the products we provide
  • Answers customer questions and handles their complaints rapidly
  • Develop relationships with consulting firms and architects
  • Manages the performance and expectations of subordinates
  • Assesses performance both formally and informally
  • Provides mentoring, coaching and discipline when necessary
  • Makes recommendations for hires, promotions, terminations, and demotions
  • Provides input regarding compensation
  • Approves time off requests and time keeping records
  • Perform all other duties as assigned


To qualify for this position, you must possess at least 10 years of of sales experience, with at least 3 years of experience in management. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or other related field is preferred. AV experience is required.
