The Associate Director, Production is responsible for daily operations. Specifically to direct, manage and implement activities related to the Production Unit to produce and deliver product with high quality; in a compliant, efficient, and cost effective manner.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Maintaining a physical presence with direct reports (manufacturing associates) on and off the shop floor to supervise, coach and support.

* Ensure Associates are executing tasks per approved policies and applicable procedures

* Ensure Associates are demonstrating the proper aseptic techniques & behaviors.

* Recognizes changes from routine practices and takes appropriate next steps utilizing critical thinking skills

* Ensure the products are produced, inspected, stored and released in accordance with approved procedures.

* Responsible for authoring, reviewing and/or approving GMP documents including but not limited to SOPs, Batch Records, Labels, Protocols, Reports, Validation documents.

* Ensure Good Documentation Practice are followed on the shop floor.

* Work with team to resolve tactical issues and facilitate Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions (CAPAs)

* Audit and review emergency paperwork and processes to ensure compliance

* Manage any disciplinary actions (including PIP's) with direct reports.

Minimum requirements

What you'll bring to the role:

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry or related

* Minimum 4 years' experience in GMP manufacturing process support role in the pharmaceutical industry, experience with radiopharmaceuticals is preferred

* 3 to 5 years of management experience

* Good understanding or capacity to quickly understand production processes, scientific & technical (automation) understanding

* Change management, adaptability, ability to work under pressure

* Excellent communication, organizational and time-management abilities
