Could you be our next Public Safety Officer at Main Line Health? 

As a Public Safety Officer, you will provide our patients and staff with peace of mind. Various shifts are available, including days, evenings, and nights. Weekend rotation is required for all shifts except for Per Diem.

As you monitor situations on and off campus, you help ensure a safe environment for all. Use your strong people skills and professional judgment to respond appropriately to emergencies and delicate patient matters.

Experience



  • Experience in a campus, healthcare, or security/customer service-related field (strongly preferred)


  • Strong verbal and written communication skills


  • Demonstrated ability to think independently yet listen to and work with a team.


  • Ability to maintain confidential information and handle confidential matters with integrity.


  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to handle and resolve recurring challenges.




Required Education, Licensures/Certifications



  • High School Diploma or its equivalent


  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record for the last three (3) years.


  • Certified or eligible for Commonwealth of Pennsylvania State Lethal Weapons Training Certification (Act 235).


  • Must complete Managing of Aggressive Behavior or MOAB parts 1, 2 & 3 within four (4) months of employment
