Senior R&D Engineer 39431BR DENMARK - Copenhagen, FRANCE - Montbonnot, USA - California - Mountain View/Sunnyvale Job Description and Requirements Job Description and Requirements : This developer is responsible for P&R optimization and Clock tree synthesis. This is an individual contributor role and will be in charge of architecture, design and implementation of Synopsys' cutting-edge CTS. The successful person will work as a part of a high-performing team tasked with developing efficient algorithms for concurrent clock and data path optimization and useful skew optimization. Key Qualifications Minimum requirement of PhD with EDA/CAD tool development experience in P&R, timing, optimization or CTS. Designs algorithms and data structures. Has desires to learn and explore new technologies and demonstrates good investigation and problem-solving skills. Prior understanding and experience of EDA/CAD tool development is required. Possesses a full understanding of P&R, optimization, and/or CTS area plus a working understanding of adjacent areas of the implementation flow. Autonomously resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative ways on a regular basis. Customarily exercises self-directed judgment in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions. Performs in a project leadership role. Contributes to complex aspects of a project. Resolves and develops approaches to solutions. Work is self-directed and collaborative in nature. Represents the organization on business unit and/or company-wide projects. Guides more junior peers with aspects of their job. Frequently networks with senior internal and external personnel in their own area of expertise.Preferred Experience PhD in EDA related area with EDA software development experience. Expertise in the development of complex software projects with C/C++ coding in Linux environment. Proven background in data structures and algorithm development.
