Responsibilities

Project Manager is responsible for managing and directing the implementation of one or more small to medium sized projects including the definition, development, delivery and deployment of quality solutions to meet Business Unit (BU) customer needs (including changes to agreed requirements) and that are compatible with business drivers defined by the business. The Project Manager is also directly responsible for managing project portfolio: scope, cost, schedule, risk, human resources, communications, procurement and change.

Responsibilities

  • Performs routine data collection, organization, workflow, and support analysis
  • Ensures the preparation of quality deliverables
  • Ability to define workflow for improvements and resolving issues
  • Documents and presents project status regularly
  • Supports special projects and analysis related to initiative
  • Competent in use of project management tools and techniques
  • Collaborates with other PMs to provide a disciplined approach to project management
  • Develops and maintains project plans with accurate estimates of effort required to meet customer
  • Manages sign-off process and obtains all approvals required for projects under their control
  • Delivers results that drive customer satisfaction
  • Maintains strong working relationships with all project stakeholders
  • Actively solicits feedback from project team and takes action to address problems; identifies, documents and manages risks
  • Coordinates with internal and external supporting organizations to deliver solutions to the business units
  • Manages vendor and supplier relationships for assigned projects
  • Manages Contract approval process and Vendor coordination for facilitation
  • Manages Invoice processing/ tracking
  • Assist in the management of Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Manage Vendor onboarding to for application access requests, VPN, and Security
  • Manage procurement related activities
  • Develop and control expense and capital budgets for the department
  • Lead procurement efforts including serving as a requestor for Investment committee requests.
  • To facilitate transition of new projects/ processes from development to production
  • To ensure that the appropriate systems and process workflows are in alignment with the strategic goals of the business
  • To facilitate systems and workflow standards
  • To facilitate operational support and system integration
Qualifications

Key Experiences/Achievements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business (or Management), Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required.
  • 1 or more years of formal project management responsibility
  • Experience planning, developing, managing workplans and budgets
  • Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and adjust priorities based on workload, management directives, and customer demands
  • Ability to quickly adapt to diverse and changing environments
