Job Summary

Provide and arrange component parts for assembly and press personnel at the workstations to avoid any interruptions in their daily assignments, move and transfer material in orderly manner to ensure proper flow of service and operations, while complying with current ISO requirements, all safety requirements, and good housekeeping standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Load, unload, and move material within or near the plant yard or work site.
  2. Read shop order, inventory tracking tickets, and/or receives oral instructions from a supervisor to move material, parts, boxes, drums, etc. between locations in the plant.
  3. Constructs or sets up packaging containers.
  4. Load and unload materials from tables, machines, etc.
  5. Follows all pertinent safety regulations for self and others.
  6. Properly utilizes all safety equipment.
  7. May be required to dispose of scrap in the containers provided and/or move scrap to its proper destination.
  8. May be required to operate fork lift.
  9. Be an active participant in maintaining a clean work environment.
  10. May be required to train any new employee assigned to the area.
  11. Perform other duties as directed by supervisors

Skills and Experience

Preferred Skills:

Language Skills - Good communication skills are key. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Mathematical Skills- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Experience working with consolidations.
