Responsibilities A Clinical Research Division laboratory that studies the biology of blood and marrow stem cells and develops novel stem cell gene therapies as well as genome editing technologies is recruiting a Research Technician II to assist with development and production of novel gene transfer vectors and performing associated QC assays. Duties may include performing molecular cloning, PCR, QPCR, ELISA, processing and analysis of samples for flow cytometry, sterile cell culture work with cell lines and primary cells. The position involves additional responsibilities, such as analysis of data using software like Prism and Snapgene. The candidate should be motivated to participate in sample processing and analysis from preclinical modeling experiments. This position affords the motivated technician an opportunity to develop/utilize cell culture and molecular biology skills, and latest genome editing platforms. Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree is required. A Master's degree is preferred, in biological science
