Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC) - Clinical Observation Unit at Providence St. Peter Hospital

$2500. Hiring Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment - this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment.

The Certified Nurse Assistant will provide nursing care, respiratory care, splinting, and patient support services in a hospital unit under the direction of the Clinical Manager.

Required qualifications:



  • Valid State of Washington Nursing Assistant Certification (without restrictions)
  • American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Medical Assistant Registration (MA-R) within six (6) months of hire for emergency center and surgical/perioperative units only
  • Certified Nursing Assistants employed at Providence St. Peter Hospital on or before June 30, 2013 may have a Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification (MA-P) in lieu of MA-R
  • Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License (Vendor Managed) upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Vendor Managed) upon hire


Preferred qualification:



  • Six (6) months working as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a healthcare setting, long-term care or similar environment
