Home Health and Hospice Aide (NAC) - Hospice Seattle at SCS Hospice

The Home Health/Hospice Aide provides personal care, assistance with performing activities of daily living and prescribed therapeutic exercises, and basic housekeeping services essential to the comfort and cleanliness of receiving home care or hospice services. These services are specified by a written plan of care that is developed and supervised by a Registered Nurse.

Required qualifications:



  • Completion of a certified nursing assistant course or equivalent training
  • Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC) in the state of Washington
  • Current Healthcare Provider CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification


Preferred qualification:



  • One (1) year previous home health/hospice experience required as a nurse's aide, hospice aide, orderly, or related experience in an acute, rehabilitative, or long term care facility, or hospice organization

Providence Hospice of Seattle is a not-for-profit, community-based hospice ministry serving patients in their places of residence throughout King County in Washington state. We provide comprehensive and compassionate physical, emotional, and spiritual care to adults and children nearing the end of their lives, including support for their families and friends. Our skilled and compassionate team includes nurses, medical social workers, home health aides, chaplains, occupational/physical therapists, medical directors, grief support counselors and volunteers.
