Minimum Qualifications Education: High School or equivalent required. Experience: No experience required, but previous law enforcement or security experience is preferred. Licensure/Certification: (1) Has met Virginia minimum training standards for law enforcement officers and is currently certified as a law enforcement officer by the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services, or; is eligible to attend and successfully complete such training within one year of being hired. (2) Valid Virginia driver's license required. Other: Must possess a driving record within the scope of Carilion's Driver Regulations. Due to Virginia's state law, the applicant must be at least 21 years of age. Computer keyboarding skills. Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Meets Virginia's minimum requirements for law enforcement officers.
