Postdoctoral Research Associate - Biomedical Engineering

General Summary of Position:

This individual supports research activities in Dr. Yanfen Li's lab in workforce development in Tissue Engineering. Duties include collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, aiding in programming implementation, and disseminating research results.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

Education and Experience:



  • PhD or MD in Education, Engineering Education, or related field


Skills:



  • Self-starter, reliable, motivated in one's work, with a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Well-developed conceptual, analytical and communications skills
  • Ability to create, read, and interpret educational literature
  • The ability to work effectively with diverse populations including students, staff, and faculty
  • Experience collecting and analyzing/interpreting quantitative and/or qualitative data

This position is contingent upon funding. The initial appointment will be for one year with a possibility of renewal based on productivity, successful performance and the availability of funding.
