The Prince William County Office of Management & Budget is looking for an an energized, dedicated, and detail-oriented team member for a Management & Budget Analyst position.
ABOUT THIS ROLE:
Duties include:
Analyzing, reviewing, and making professional recommendations for the allocation and distribution of revenues and expenditures for assigned County agencies and outside contributory agencies; Providing fiscal and operational oversight for County agencies throughout the fiscal year; Providing advice on organizational and developmental performance and productivity improvements, conducting program evaluation; Developing, presenting and defending findings and recommendations; Special projects or manage assigned focus areas that are necessary to complete budget development and implementation (for example, state revenue coordination). To be successful, the candidate should have technical expertise in a variety of analysis (statistical, forecasting), in addition to technical software expertise and experience in enterprise database systems (specifically, Oracle EPM Cloud/Hyperion).

A Bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, or a related field such as economics, public policy, statistics, accounting or analytics
Professional work experience in local government budget analysis
Extreme focus on providing highest level of customer service to multiple stakeholders
Oracle EPM Cloud/Hyperion, Smart View, and MS Excel experience
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS: Monday - Friday with some evenings and weekends from January - May. This position is predominately telework.
ENTRY SALARY RANGE: $66,742 - $82,561
