*Overview:*
Responsible for receiveing product inventory for the Retail division as well and maintaining cost of sales information in accordance with the Cedar Fair cornerstones. * How You'll Make A Difference: * * Meets deliveries and communicates specific instructions to drivers regarding drop-off of materials/products. * Compares incoming products to invoices, verifies packing slips, and inventories the products received to determine correct shipment of products/materials. Determines shipping discrepancies and resolves issues of incorrect orders. * Verifies the quality/freshness of product received in the Merchandise/Games warehouse(s). * Writes requisitions for all incoming shipments. * Loads and unloads delivery trucks. * Prepares parcels/freight for mailing and shipment to various delivery services. * Ensures work area is organized, neat and clean. Performs general cleaning duties, such as sweeping, as needed. Adheres to all safety guidelines in regards to the proper storage procedures/requirements of equipment, supplies, and chemicals. * Operates a fork lift and motor vehicle upon completion of proper training/certification in order to deliver products to various departments/appropriate locations. * Ensures completions of all the necessary paperwork. *We're Looking For:* * Ability to pass a basic math assessment. * Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law. * Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law. * Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs. * Be able to lift, carry, push, or pull certain items up to 75 pounds frequently, and in excess of 75 pounds occasionally. * Ablity to work in both indoor and outdoor locations. Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions such as extremely hot and cold temperatures, rain, snow, sleet, and going into coolers and freezers with temperatures as low as -40F. * Ability to drive, and operate, a park vehicle on and off park premises while obeying all traffic and safety laws. * Driver's License | |
