ABOUT THIS ROLE : This position is very fast paced and demanding; requires strong organizational skills, strong communication skills and time management skills, to be able to keep up with deadlines and the caseload. Responsibilities include:



  1. Receiving and processing applications for the Housing Choice Voucher Family Self-Sufficiency Program
  2. Performing calculations to ensure program eligibility
  3. Working directly with internal and external agency partners for program educational purposes
  4. Assisting Family Self-Sufficiency participants with goals and outcomes


MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or G.E.D. and 2 years of related experience.

PREFERENCES: The successful candidate will have...


  • Excellent assessment, oral and written communication skills
  • The ability to provide case coordination oversight
  • A working knowledge of community resources

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS: 30 hours weekly

ENTRY SALARY RANGE : $34.50/hr

This position is a temporary grant-funded position scheduled to end December 31, 2022, or earlier depending on available work, performance, and continuance of grant funding. Positions are not funded for paid leave accrual, holiday pay, or medical and retirement benefits.
