Summary

The Change Management Program Manager will be part of NYPA's Change Management Team and play an important role in leading NYPA towards fulfilling its VISION2030 strategy of enabling a thriving, resilient New York State powered by clean energy. The Change Management Program Manager will help lead the evolution of Change Management services and practices at NYPA, in support of organizational priorities. The manager will develop customized change management solutions while engaging leaders and collaboration partners through project support lifecycle from intake to sustainability. #LI-VB1

Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver custom end-to-end project and change management solutions to support the strategic business and operational goals of the organization.
  • Process lead to for Change Management services, including Coordination of change support with cross-departmental teams to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Develop training and engagement experiences that will build internal Change Management capacity, skills and capabilities.
  • Develop and guide internal change management engagement and education strategies and activities.
  • Develop, refine, and align metrics in support of progressing NYPA's change management maturity roadmap.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Skilled Project, Program or Change manager who has passion for crafting a best fit solution for the organization and end recipient of the change.
  • Demonstrated success in managing medium to large scale transformation projects and/or and change management workstreams and creating custom change management solutions.
  • Strong analytic skills and passion for change management measures and metrics.
  • Experienced in reviewing and collaborating on necessary changes to organizational processes, policies, and skills to support sustainable change.
  • Demonstrated capability to communicate and work effectively at all levels of the organization, inspiring respect, and credibility.
  • Passionate about team development methods, and workshop design and facilitation
Education, Experience and Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; Project management, Psychology, Organizational Psychology/Leadership, Communications preferred.
  • 5 years' experience leading Projects as a project/program manager and/or change management lead. If primary experience is as a project manager, inclusion, and elevation of change management workstreams, activities and knowledge is key.
Physical Requirements
  • Approximately 10% travel primarily within NY State, some out of state travel.
