The mission of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is to work collaboratively toward the prevention of homelessness and the creation of lasting solutions for homeless and at-risk families, children, and individuals throughout Colorado. The Coalition advocates for and provides a continuum of housing and a variety of services to improve the health, well-being, and stability of those it serves.

The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless seeks a Front Desk Attendant to answer the office phone, meet, greet, screen, direct, and address the myriad needs of customer, clients, vendors, contractors, delivery people, and others who approach the front desk throughout the day. This position is located at various locations in the Denver Metro area and reports to the Property Manager.

The effective date for your benefits will be the first of the month following your date of hire.

Essential Job Functions



  1. Monitors building entry/exit points.
  2. Controls residents, visitors, applicants, and vendor's access into the building.
  3. Utilize customer service skills.
  4. Keep work area clean and organized throughout entire shift.
  5. Communicate in writing the building management and staff issues concerning events that took place during your shift. Including but not limited to issues/concerns related to security, maintenance, visitors and resident's behavior.
  6. Responsible for supervising the building when management is not available or not on duty.
  7. Remain at the front desk location at all times, unless specific resident or staff requires your absence from front desk location.
  8. Act as a representative of the company at all times.
  9. Maintain key control at all times.
  10. Comply with all Fair Housing laws.
  11. Assess and make recommendations to management regarding training needs.
  12. Maintains a work environment that is marked by respect for others; that values inclusiveness and builds workforce diversity; and that fosters cooperation and teamwork.
  13. Help maintain property management software (Onesite) as directed by property manager.
  14. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Summary



  1. High School diploma or equivalent;
  2. Relevant experience in customer service may substitute for formal education.
