Senior Manager, Software Platform Team - Enterprise Technology

This role will provide leadership in architecture, design, and development to support our custom software teams with a focus on application and platform technology. Leverage industry best practices and technological innovations to provide solutions that contribute to increased efficiency.

Develop a team of dedicated, highly skilled engineers to take on common problems, encourage standard methodologies, improve quality and enable experimentation.

  • Regularly interact with engineers, program managers, and senior management.

  • Work with engineers to develop detailed and creative solutions to sophisticated problems.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years' experience supporting mission-critical applications; programming in a variety of languages; and using a Systems Development life cycle

  • Minimum five years' experience leading software engineering teams.

  • Established ability to mentor software engineers in a team setting, including architecture, design, and code review.

  • Participate on committees responsible for the architecture, development, implementation, and support of new and enhanced applications

  • Broad understanding of systems technology trends and the ability to critically assess and evaluate those trends as they apply to the organization.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, project management, organization, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to generate and articulate new ideas and adapt effectively to new technologies

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, or commensurate experience

  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Desired:

  • Experience with Scrum/Agile

  • Integrating security early in the software life cycle

  • Experience with event-driven architecture
