The MuleSoft Global Solution Engineering (SE) Productivity team focuses on four key areas:
Strategy, design, creation, & delivery of SE Onboarding, Training Programs, Competencies, Learning Journeys, and Best Practices to increase the proficiency, knowledge, and confidence of our SEs in all aspects of our products. SE Operational programs to improve overall SE productivity & retention, Company growth & scale, and customer success. Examples include content & knowledge management, release readiness, and process & systems innovation. Business Operations for the processes and tools applied by the SE organization Fostering team and Company-wide collaboration across MuleSoft & Salesforce for strategy, content contributions, and measurements to ensure the success of our programs.
The MuleSoft SE Enablement programs span a variety of types, including instructor-led and self-paced training, playbooks, internal reference guides, videos, and any others which encourage engagement, follow-up, and action. Creativity and experience demonstrating new mediums of content development and delivery are highly desirable!

In strong collaboration with the SE Leadership both at MuleSoft & Salesforce, we deliver world-class learning experiences and knowledge assets by:

  • Understanding the key business needs and requirements across different segments and geographies to determine impact and value through Enablement Programs.
  • Aligning the business needs to specific Enablement Programs from Onboarding to Learning Journeys as the key driver for employee success, continuous learning, and internal career growth.
  • Delivering high-quality Enablement Programs to cover (i) SE excellence, tools, and processes to increase performance, (ii) specific soft and business skills, and (iii) product and industry knowledge to drive the development and eye for business of our SEs.
  • Facilitating high-quality asset creation and curation across various teams to enable scalable asset consumption and reuse.
  • Establishing our position in a hub and spoke model to encourage collaboration and represent the needs of SEs across various teams such as the MuleSoft & Salesforce SEs, AEs, Field & Other Core Enablement Teams, Product Teams, MarketingTeams, SEs, Customer Success, Services, and Business Technology.

About the Role:

As the SE Enablement Delivery Analyst for AMER, you will play a key role in ensuring we deliver innovative enablement programs for the AMER SE team. In this role, you will partner with the AMER Enablement Lead, Global Enablement team, and Regional Enablement counterparts to align on the design, development, operations & delivery of both AMER-specific and Global programs. You will also focus on developing strong relationships in the AMER region to understand the needs of your partners and how to tailor content appropriately. You will influence and collaborate cross-functionally to drive pre-sales enablement planning, execution, and program development to improve and optimize our efficiency and sales effectiveness in the AMER markets. The ideal candidate will be based in the US or Canada. Deliverables mainly take the form of developing and delivering enablement programs, including:

  • Deliver global onboarding and SE Enablement events and bootcamps. Be willing to travel globally as needed.
  • Work closely with the Theatre Enablement Lead and local SE leaders in AMER to tailor enablement programs to the needs of the local markets.
  • Work closely with the Theatre Enablement Lead, Global Enablement team, and regional counterparts to create compelling and engaging learning experiences that are tailored to your region.
  • Work closely with the Global Enablement Operations Lead to learn enablement program processes, and to complete program operations locally. This includes, but is not limited to: scheduling of bootcamps, sourcing of subject matter experts, training said subject matter experts, creating and sending pre and post-bootcamp communications, creating/editing supporting materials and documentation for bootcamps, etc.
  • Learn the SE Enablement vision and strategy and various enablement programs, including onboarding, bootcamps, product specialists program, certifications, and release readiness.
  • Develop SE enablement content that demonstrates Solution Engineering standard methodologies like Demo2Win, Power Messaging, Customer-Centric Discovery (CCD), in partnership with the Global SE leadership team and other enablement teams in the organization.
  • Learn MuleSoft's products, playbook, and approaches, and align enablement content to empower MuleSoft SEs to be the best in driving the value of MuleSoft.
  • Learn how to demonstrate our Learning Management System (LMS), MindTickle, Content Management System (CMS), Highspot, and Knowledge Management System (KMS), Guru, in order to organize, maintain and improve our enablement content to make it visible, consumable, and highly effective.

What you'll need to be successful:

  • Program/project management skills. Ability to effectively prioritize programs and projects that deliver maximum value and impact.
  • A general desire to make things better, easier, and more efficient. Ability to see a gap, a path to resolution, and the ability to rally a team to deliver.
  • Experience in developing and delivering enablement programs.
  • Confidence to independently make decisions and forge forward to meet internal deadlines and customer needs.
  • Passion for enablement - you take great pleasure from the rush of seeing a group of people transformed after participating in your training programs.
  • Ability to develop strong cross-functional working relationships across functions and geographies.
  • Strong communication skills - must convey a clear point of view, collaborate with VPs, and communicate clearly across a distributed team.
  • Adept at synthesizing competing inputs from multiple partners (e.g., SE managers).
  • Interest and ability to learn new technologies - you don't have to be a MuleSoft expert but should be willing to learn about our product and how we go to market.
  • Have an extremely high bar for quality, and you hold those around you to that standard.
  • You aren't afraid to get your hands dirty and do the work needed to make our onboarding program as effective as possible. Though it will grow over time, the team is very lean today - you'll need to be actively engaged in developing material.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to balance internal customer needs with competing priorities.
