Overview

This role will report to the Sr. Manager, Renewals Operations & Strategy for Tableau. The candidate will need to be a self-starter, detail-oriented, flexible in a fast-paced work environment and committed to learning Tableau and Salesforce's renewals & business processes. The candidate will support the Global Renewals team, including (but not limited to) deal structure questions, data quality reviews and revenue calculations, while ensuring the team is in compliance with revenue and company policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide internal opportunity management support to Renewal Managers on pre- and post-renewals.

  • Deconstruct and solve complex forecasting issues.

  • Ensure all approved requests have been properly documented in accordance with Renewals processes, escalated to the appropriate approval level, and resolved within SLA.

  • Effectively communicate requirements and respond to RMs on questions regarding policies and processes.

  • Attrition and renewal rate validation and reporting

  • Participate in new process development and process improvement projects, as well as other ad hoc projects.

  • Share best practices with and provide cross training for peers, team members and outside business units to enhance the quality and efficiency of support and contribute to the knowledge base.

  • Establish strong relationships with Renewals and other internal resources as appropriate.

  • Work independently on assignments and escalations that are diverse in scope, requiring seasoned judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations

  • Apply knowledge, skills and judgment to make moderately difficult decisions and resolve issues.

  • Gain strong level of expertise in the Salesforce Application

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Demonstrated participation in process improvement

  • Ability to excel in a fast growing/fast paced environment, delivering accuracy while managing to deadlines where adaptability is imperative

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; articulate in written and verbal communication; willingness to appropriately debate difficult issues; ability to think quickly

  • Ability to understand broader business and financial issues and juggle multiple projects and tasks

  • Must have a strong investigative mindset and problem solving abilities

  • Must maintain a positive attitude in stressful situations and while working within a team environment

  • Detail oriented & ability to work independently

  • Tableau experience a plus

  • Salesforce.com application experience a plus

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
