Slack's Learning Services team is responsible for enabling our customers and partners to drive business transformation through the use of Slack. Alongside our broader Success Services team, we work with some of Slack's largest enterprise customers and consulting partners to drive meaningful, mature usage of Slack. Collectively, the Learning Services team offers our customers customized learning consulting, scalable programs such as our Slack Certified and Slack Skills credentials, and consistently creative learning design woven throughout all learning experiences.

Slack is looking for Learning Consultants to partner with our other professional services teams to discover, design, and deliver tailored learning programs that enable our enterprise customers to launch and deepen their use of Slack. To succeed in this role, you should be a captivating facilitator, strong consultant, and partner to customers. You are able to infuse adult learning theory into thoughtful and extraordinary customer experiences. You will accelerate our largest customers' adoption of Slack by ensuring they can take advantage of the Slack benefits best suited for their unique needs.

Slack Learning Consultants play a meaningful role in scoping, building, and delivering relevant and compelling learning experiences for enterprise customers across a broad range of users, teams, and geographies; aligned to customers' specific needs; and through a variety of learning modalities (virtual instructor led training, train-the-trainer, documentation, video, etc.).

Your Impact:

  • Conduct consultative discovery sessions with enterprise customers to scope learning needs

  • Synthesize customers' business goals into clear, comprehensive learning plans and deliverables

  • Design and deliver tailored curriculum that employs brain-friendly instructional strategies for a variety of audiences in large organizations

  • Craft bespoke learning materials, including instructor lead courses, facilitator guides, learning experiences on the platform, light video content

  • Partner internally to innovate on how the professional services Slack offers can further drive customers' adoption and maturity of Slack

  • Continuously improve our learning programs and develop new offerings

  • Learning Consultant:

    • Develops a plan and executes deliverables on customer engagements and/or supports in building deliverables on more complex projects

  • Senior Learning Consultant:

    • Uncovers learning needs and advises the customer on requisite outcomes from the engagement. Develops and executes a plan to drive results. Develops new assets and approaches to mature the learning consulting practice.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Learning Consultant: 2+ years of experience designing and delivering learning for corporate or customer audiences

  • Senior Learning Consultant: 4+ years of experience designing and delivering learning for corporate or customer audiences

  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build relationships with both customers and internal partners

  • Strategic thinker and problem solver focused on customer success

  • Ability to collaboratively resolve issues and mitigate risks

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in a SaaS environment

  • 2+ years in a B2B customer-facing role

  • Operational experience building out functions and programs

  • Ambitious and hardworking with creative ideas to inspire customer loyalty and adoption

  • Diplomacy, tact, and poise under pressure when working through customer issues
