Location: North Central Correctional Institution, Gardner, MA
Schedule: full time, 40 hours
Pay rate: $31.50/hour

The Nurse is responsible for:

• Providing general nursing care to all clients in the Medications for Opioid Use Disorders (MOUD) Treatment Program.
• This position performs job activities in adherence to medical standards in a compassionate and professional manner.
• The Nurse participates as a member of the multidisciplinary team.
• Working the hours required to meet the business needs of the organization and travel to other program locations as needed to ensure clients receive daily medication.

Qualifications:

• Valid MA LPN/RN license from accredited school required.
• Must have current CPR certificate or obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in substance abuse/mental health field or an acute care inpatient healthcare environment preferred.
• DOC experience preferred.
• Requires the ability to work 1 major summer holiday and 1 major winter holiday.
• Based on a mandate from Massachusetts Department of Corrections, any Spectrum employee working in a MA DOC facility or pursuant to the MOUD Contract must be fully vaccinated and no exemptions are permitted.
