Sensiba San Filippo is actively seeking bright, energetic individuals to assist in the delivery of outstanding service to our clients. We are looking for motivated Experienced Associates to join our dynamic and growing Tax practice.

Job Duties:




  • Tax return preparation
  • Tax research
  • Client interaction, consisting primarily of phone and e-mail contact
  • Performing accounting services of various scopes
  • Documenting procedures
  • Rolling binders and templates
  • Client meetings
  • Clearing points once work is reviewed by seniors
  • Attending various training courses
  • Work closely with clients
  • Handle challenging technical projects
  • Provide direction to less experienced staff
  • Begin to identify client service and engagement efficiency opportunities
  • Lead smaller engagements
  • Focus on the CPA exam

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of CPA firm experience in position offered or related position
  • Bachelor's degree with Accounting major or emphasis (3.2 GPA preferred)
  • Masters degree in Taxation or Accountancy is preferred
  • Working towards CPA licensure
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting issues
  • Strong analytical aptitude
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Clear verbal and written communication is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe
  • Desirable experience in ProSystems, CSI, and fX Engagement software
  • Ability to work flexibly as part of a team striving to fulfill periodic deadlines and other client requirements
